Description
Before you disconnect the driveshaft, wedge the hanger bar between the truck’s frame rails, making sure the padded C-brackets are tight against each lip. Once secured, bring the synthetic rope under the driveshaft and clip both ends back onto the hanger bar, cinching as needed. The driveshaft can now be removed, transferring the weight to the synthetic rope. Unlike metal hangers, the flexible synthetic rope can be easily adjusted, and the position of the driveshaft can be moved up or down, left or right, as needed for travel. Lastly, run the second synthetic rope along the length of the driveshaft for lateral securement.
This Driveline Pro was designed with heavy-duty tow operators and truck mechanics in mind. The tool kit easily fits in the toolbox on your wrecker body or toolbox. Make sure it’s there the next time you need it.
